Some customers say that these elephant mice remind them more of shrews or even rats which is not surprising as they are all related. These soft sculpture elephant mice by Hansa Toys are wonderfully crafted from fine grey black tipped plush fur fabric with a white plush underbelly with suedette paws, ears and long tail. Their elongated snouts (which gives them their name) have been shaved back and they have long white whiskers. They are both soft and cuddly. This particular species are the ancestors of the white mouse used in science laboratories. Each mouse comes complete with it's own hang tag which has details about the lifestyles of these odd looking creatures.
